I always loved aesthetics. Not particularly fashion, but an idea of beauty. I feel that things happen for a reason and open up new opportunities. A woman is never sexier than when she is comfortable in her clothes. Never in my wildest dreams did I entertain the idea that I would become a fashion designer. Dressing up. People just don’t do it anymore. We have to change that.

I want people to be afraid of the women I dress. Fashions fade, style is eternal. I think it’s the responsibility of a designer to try to break rules and barriers. Women are women, and hurray for that. Nostalgia is a very complicated subject for me. I’m attracted by nostalgia but I refuse it intellectually.
